The HiSeq 2500 System is an efficient, ultra-high-throughput sequencing system. It features two run modes, rapid run (2 lanes) and high-output run (8 lanes) mode. Yield of one lane of HiSeq 2500 is 200M reads. HiSeq 2500 has the ability to process one or two flow cells simultaneously.
Rapid run mode provides quick results, allows efficient processing of a limited number of samples, and offers support of longer paired-end 150 base pair reads, which enable a greater depth of coverage.
High-output mode allows to batch process > 4x more samples than rapid mode.

NanoString’s nCounter technology uses color-coded molecular barcodes that can hybridize directly to many different types of target molecules. It is ideal for a range of applications requiring efficient, high-precision quantitation of hundreds of target molecules across a sample set.
The NextSeq500 desktop sequencing system enables faster sequencing (~5.5 min/cycle) which enables it to perform the 150 PE sequencing run in less than 30hrs. Combine with a greater yield than the hiseq machine (400M reads per run), it is suitable for most of the sequencing applications and is less ideal for low complexity libraries.
cBot is an automated system that creates clonal clusters from a single molecule DNA templates, preparing them for sequencing by synthesis on the HiSeq sequencer.cBot isothermally amplifies cDNA fragments that have been captured by complementary adapter oligonucleotides covalently bound to the surface of Illumina flow cells. Flow cells facilitate access of bound DNA to enzymes. Attached DNA fragments are extended and bridge amplified to create hundreds of millions of clusters, each of which contains ~1000 identical copies of a single template molecule.

TapeStation Agilent 2200
The TapeStation Agilent 2200 system is a tape-based platform that allows DNA, RNA and protein sample QC (such as length and concentration), including sample loading, separation and imaging. The system obtains results quickly, one minute per sample and is very easy to use. DNA Screen Tape assays allow separation and analysis of genomic DNA, DNA fragments and DNA libraries. Agilent 2200 TapeStation DNA kit’s specifications are: D1000 kit for 0.1–50 ng/µL, High Sensitivity D1000 kit for 10-1000 pg/ µl and Genomic DNA kit is for 10–100 ng/µL.
