We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for an exciting position at the de Botton Institute for Protein Profiling.
The candidate will take part in a diversity of projects relating to the application of the
most advanced mass spectrometry-based proteomics for basic and clinical research.
He/She will be responsible for designing and executing experiments using
quantitative proteomics and analysis of post-translational modifications. A large part
of the work also relies on use of advanced software for data processing and analysis.
Hands on experience using mass spectrometry is a must. Experience analyzing
proteomics data is highly advantageous. High computer literacy is critical for the
A biological/biochemistry background is a major advantage.
The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in
Inter-personal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
The candidate must hold a Ph.D. degree in life sciences, physics or chemistry.

We are seeking a laboratory technician to join the Protein Profiling team.
Assist in sample preparation of protein samples intended for analysis using mass spectrometry.
Assist in routine maintenance, calibration and setup of high resolution LC-MS/MS systems.
- B.Sc. in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology or life sciences– must.
- Two years lab work experience - must.
- Hands on experience in mass spectrometry – advantage.
- Complete fluency in Office applications - must.
- Fluency in English - must.
- Excellent inter personal skills and communications skills.
